If you said you are a high power person you may have said you feel confident, strong, actively participating, take space, let people know you walked into a room and have good posture and presence.

If you said you are a low power person you may have said you feel you don’t belong, you have nothing to say, you feel intimidated that others know more than you, you feel unsafe, small and invisible or singled out for being different.

No matter what your answer was – the first step is knowing yourself and then figuring out what to do next.

Tips for making the most of the two minutes before your next interview:

  • go to the bathroom or find a private place
  • put your hands on your hips
  • stretch your arms up
  • look in the mirror, smile and say ‘you’ve got this’
  • have a trusted person give you a pep talk – they believe in you so should you
  • There are no wrong answers but remember if you plan, prepare and do your homework, find your passion answer the ‘why you’ question and go in there and be present in the moment – you will have already won.
